Natural Resources and Rural Livelihoods

In an effort to foster co-ordination and collaboration among donors working to reverse trends in degradation of natural resources and conserve biodiversity for future generations, UNEP-WCMC is promoting the sharing of project information among donors, and with a wider public. Therefore, it has joined forces with DFID and other donors to share information on their projects that relate to forests, natural resources and rural livelihoods, using the interactive map on this site. The interactive map shows the locations of projects supported by the participating donors and links to project summary and contact information. It also includes mapped information on environmental and development contexts for the projects. The site therefore provides information on projects in the context of their contribution to conservation and development.
